Tom Dewey joined Advisory Board of The Malibu Group in 2002. He brings a wealth of unique marketing, sales, product management, and operational perspective to the board. Tom’s background in owning and building companies has provided him with the ability to look within any organization and pinpoint potential synergies with other companies.
In addition, Tom’s involvement in several professional groups serves as the catalyst for hundreds of relationships among large and small companies throughout the Midwest. Tom has advised or participated in the purchase or sale of more than 10 public or private companies.
Formerly the Chairman and CEO of the publicly traded Ohmart Corporation, Tom is a founding member of CISE (Cincinnati Institute for Small Enterprise) and is on the Board of Directors of Enerfab, Sawbrook Steel, and Praxis Solutions.
He has advised numerous companies through his membership in Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Cincinnati President’s Organization (CPO), and World Presidents’ Organization (WPO). He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Advisors for the UC Electrical Engineering Department.
Active in the community, Tom is the President of the University of Cincinnati UCATS Organization, mentors three University of Cincinnati student athletes, and is a Board Member of The Wellness Community.
Tom holds a BBA degree from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from General Electric Advanced Management School.
